Hi this site is about our son, Dylan. We tried for five years to have a baby. We went through the ups and downs of infertility. After 11 medicated cycles which included IUIs, IVFs, DE IVF, FET and two miscarriages. Our infertility doctor told us that we had about a 1-2% chance of ever conceiving on our own. After so many tries, we decided that it was more important for us to be parents than to have the baby conceived by us so in January ’06, we moved forward with the intention of adopting a baby girl from China. So it came to us with great shock when in March ’06, I took a HPT and it came back positive. Having lost so much before, we were cautiously excited and even when the baby was growing inside me and then finally when we gave birth by c-section – even then, I had a hard time believing we were finally being blessed by God to give us the gift, that my husband and I have dreamed of and prayed for so long.
On October 16, 2006 - I gave birth to a little boy and we named him Dylan Thomas.
I’m in my late 30s, a 1st time, stay at home mom.
